After many years our mass comm (includes journalism) students are putting out a broadsheet student newspaper again. We have missed that, and so many good things are being communicated through it already. Just wait until the department gets radio and TV production going in the next year or two! The speech comm program is growing, too, and I think it needs to be emphasized–don’t we need more people who can speak so as to make their hearers appreciate what they hear? I’m all for these programs–it’s such a good thing to do or say what you do better, and to be aware of how and why you have gotten better. “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in baskets of silver.” Prov. 25:11
